Ikigai is a Japanese concept meaning 'a reason for being'. Everyone, according to the Japanese, has an Ikigai. Finding it requires a deep and often lengthy search of self. At Ikigai Nairobi, our goal is to provide a beautifully curated shared office space where all of your needs are met, allowing you to focus on your core business.
Community is at the core of everything we do and we work hard to ensure that meaningful connections are fostered between members. Our Community Managers will ensure that you have everything you need!
Work when you are most productive. Ikigai is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year! This flexibility allows us to have a diverse community of members with different work styles.
Lunch is available daily from Monday through Friday at the Roasted Truth Café at each Ikigai location. Our café’s serve healthy salads, sandwiches, curries and more.
Roasted Truth Café is open daily Monday to Friday with our full-time professional barista’s at your service! We aim to keep you productive all day! We serve espresso based coffee, filter brews such as the Aeropress as well as fresh leaf teas.

It's great to work at Ikigai. It’s the perfect combination between having a highly professional work environment and a place to share experiences. Plus: the location, the openness and diversity of professionals working at Ikigai, the friendly environment and high-level staff. Also, the fact that Ikigai is always accessible is a plus for me. ~ Ignazio (Entomologist)
I tend to be most productive while working out of here. The quiet and cool environment helps me focus. The fire place and blankets help a lot during cold days. The hassle-free parking, security, kitchen and coffee facilities also make it my best choice to work from (even better than home!). ~ Melissa (Angel Investor for Creatives)
I prefer the aesthetics and sense of space at Ikigai. I find it a gorgeous place to work, who doesn't want to work in a garden! I like that I am able to schedule meetings there and hold my workshops there, the facilities are just what I need.~ Janet (Communications Consultant)
