17@7 with Loice Bunei

20 February | 18:30 - 20:00 | Ikigai Westlands

How can employers better incorporate differently-abled professionals into the workplace, and move beyond just diversity, towards true inclusion?

According to a report by Global Disability Rights Now!, ten percent of the Kenyan population is disabled, but only one-third of this population is in employment.

In our next edition of 17@7, we will be hosting Loice Bunei, Client Retention Executive and Inclusion champion at Standard Chartered Bank. Born sighted, Loice later lost her sight due to Retinitis Pigmentosa. Loice will be speaking about her career journey, highlighting her difficult job search experience and her views on how companies can start bringing in differently-abled individuals first, then work together to create an inclusive environment for them.

We can't wait for this important and timely discussion. See you there!
